It starts with the online enquiry form, and the admissions team calls back within a working day. From there, families book a campus tour, sit a free assessment, and if all goes well, get an offer letter. Accepting the offer means paying the registration deposit and application fee within five working days to hold the seat.
The admissions process follows five main steps:Step 1: Enquiry — complete the online enquiry form to share your requirements with the admissions teamStep 2: School tour — book a personalised campus visit to experience student life, academics and facilitiesStep 3: Assessment — your child undergoes a free entrance assessment suited to their age groupStep 4: Offer of a place — within one working day of the assessment, you'll receive an offer letter or details on next stepsStep 5: Enrolment and registration — secure the place by accepting the offer and paying the AED 1,000 registration deposit and AED 500 application fee within five working days, then complete registration with the school's supportThroughout the process, the admissions team and school registrar stay in touch to guide families through to their child's first day.
Yes, age cut-offs apply, based on 31st December of the academic year. Foundation Stage 1 requires the child to be 3 years old, Foundation Stage 2 requires 4, Year 1 requires 5, and Year 2 requires 6 by that date. From Year 3 onward, placement also takes into account the child's completed grade and previous school reports, alongside age.
Yes, an admissions assessment is required, and it is free of charge.EYFS and Key Stage 1: the Phase Leader carries out the assessment and provides feedback directlyKey Stage 2 and Secondary: applicants take a CAT4 test, followed by an admissions meeting with the Phase LeaderFamilies applying from overseas can complete this assessment online where needed.
The assessment itself doesn't cost anything. Once an offer is accepted though, there's a registration deposit of AED 1,000 plus an application fee of AED 500. Both are non-refundable under KHDA rules, but they do count toward Term 1 tuition, so it's really a deposit rather than money lost.
