Our British Secondary School students pursue the National Curriculum for England – leading to GCSE and BTEC qualifications. T hey learn to think independently, solve problems and take responsibility for their progress, preparing for further education and bright careers with confidence.
At our Secondary School in Dubai, students progress to advanced lessons in core subjects  in preparation for GCSEs and BTECs with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), building a solid academic foundation.
Secondary students can choose between GCSE and BTEC qualifications based on their strengths and career aspirations. They have specialist-led classes on all core subjects and electives along including superior coaches and programmes for Sports.

Building strong foundations through curiosity and challengeStudents build a strong foundation through a broad, engaging curriculum in Years 7-9. They develop essential skills in core subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science while exploring Humanities, Languages, Arts and Physical Education. The program emphasises critical thinking, creativity and independent learning - empowering students to master diverse subjects and transition confidently to GCSE/BTEC studies at Key Stage 4.

Deepening knowledge and preparing for future successStudents embark on their two-year GCSE/BTEC journey (Years 10-11), earning internationally recognised qualifications. They deepen Key Stage 3 knowledge through core subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science while pursuing electives aligned with their passions and career goals. Transition from Year 9 to Year 10
The transition from Year 9 to Year 10 is an exciting step as students begin to shape their future pathways by choosing their GCSE and BTEC subjects.
To support this important decision, they receive an Options Booklet with course details and expectations. Students and parents are also invited to an Options Evening where they can explore subject choices, talk to teachers and learn more about the curriculum.
Students also attend taster sessions to experience subjects before finalising their selections. Throughout the process, teachers provide personalised guidance to ensure students choose subjects that align with their strengths, interests and goals.
University and career guidance
