Meet our team

Lisa grew up in the Welsh valleys before earning a BA in Media Arts and English, an MSc in Educational Leadership, PGCE and NPQH. Her teaching career began in 2000 in Lincolnshire, followed by 11 years with Nord Anglia in Shanghai and Beijing, where she served as Head of Primary and Principal. She later led Mount Kelly School in Hong Kong and Al Shohub Private School in Abu Dhabi before becoming Vice Principal at Kings’ School Al Barsha, Dubai.

As a COBIS Lead Improvement Partner and NPQH facilitator, Lisa supports school excellence and leadership development globally. A passionate educator, she ensures students receive outstanding learning opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys running, having twice completed the Great Wall Marathon - though these days, she prefers shorter races in Dubai.

Ms Mandy brings over 20 years of leadership experience across British and International Baccalaureate education. Joining us from an ISP school in Spain, she has previously worked in the UAE and understands the local education landscape. Her senior roles include Head of Inclusion, Primary Head Teacher and Vice Principal. She is committed to high-quality teaching, inclusive practice and helping every child thrive academically and personally.

Ms Beth brings extensive leadership experience across secondary education in the UK and UAE. Having served as Head of Secondary and Vice Principal, she has led school improvement and developed GCSE and A Level pathways. With expertise across KHDA, ADEK, BSO and COBIS frameworks, she is committed to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing and developing confident, well-rounded learners.

Mr Elliot began his teaching career in the UK before moving to Dubai in 2023. He has held leadership roles including Head of Primary Science, Head of Primary Teaching and Learning, and Acting Head of Primary. Currently completing the NPQSL, he is committed to high-quality teaching, continuous school improvement and ensuring every child receives an excellent education.

Ms Sofy began her safeguarding career in the United States, supporting vulnerable young people. She holds a master’s degree and has held leadership roles in international schools across Ecuador and the UAE, focusing on pastoral care, safeguarding and school improvement. With extensive experience in inspection and accreditation processes, including COBIS, CIS and BSO, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Education, expected in 2027.
