Wellbeing and Inclusivity

At Star International School, Al Twar, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Through an inclusive approach, students feel supported, valued and empowered to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.

Students experience a nurturing environment with dedicated support teams and personalised interventions, where they can become confident and independent individuals, ready for successful futures.

Learning support

In our International School in Dubai, students benefit from an inclusive approach designed to help them excel academically, emotionally and socially. Students of determination, gifted learners and EAL students receive support from experienced inclusion staff and tailored interventions. The school's community-based approach ensures that students feel valued, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Provision for inclusion

Students on both our primary and secondary campuses have access to dedicated spaces where the inclusion team provides 1:1 or small group support. As an inclusive school, teachers and support staff work together to ensure students thrive in the classroom, providing targeted intervention where necessary. Experienced Learning Support Assistants implement strategies to support students' academic, social and physical development and monitor their progress each term.

School counsellor

Students shape their wellbeing journey with support from the on-campus school counsellor  who provides a safe space for discussions, helping students develop coping strategies, resilience and emotional intelligence.

By leading conversations on exam stress, friendships and personal growth, students take charge of their mental health while receiving structured guidance. This approach ensures every learner feels heard, supported and empowered.
