Welcome from the Principal

Star International School Al Twar stands out among the many British schools in Dubai for its warm, community feel and for the warm smiles on the faces of students, who we affectionately call Starlights.

A very warm welcome to Star International School, Al Twar, a school which prides itself on being at the heart of the community, and where all students have the opportunity to thrive.

At Star, we strive to instill a love of learning in our students from the moment they walk through our doors. To achieve this our dedicated team of teachers and support staff facilitate personalised learning opportunities for each and every student, understanding exactly how to enable them to reach their full potential.  This is evidenced when our students graduate from their final year at school with not just excellent academic grades and impressive university placements, but equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding to enter an ever changing and dynamic work environment.

This can only be achieved when a student is comfortable in their surroundings, when they know they are valued by their teachers and peers and know their wellbeing is supported. Where they know they can make mistakes and learn from them without fear of embarrassment.

At Star, the wellbeing of all members of our community is paramount, for we know this underpins the potential for everyone to achieve their very best at whatever they set their heart and mind on.

I am incredibly proud to be the Principal at Star International School, Al Twar and I welcome you to visit our school and see for yourself the amazing learning taking place.

School Principal

Our relationship with our parents is outstanding, and my door, along with the doors of all our valued staff, is always open for parents, teachers and our ‘Starlights’, for they are the light and soul of the school.
We want every child at Star to leave at the end of each school day with a smile - and we do everything we can, including working closely with our parents to address any issues that may have arisen during the day, to ensure this.
